Did you know that the ladies behind the very pretty Save The Date magazine also run fabulous wedding fairs too?

If not, where have you been?! The Wedding Event with a Difference was born in February 2011 – after attending lots of uninspiring and dull wedding fairs Abbi & Lydia wanted to provide brides, grooms and their families with creative and exciting ideas, filled with interactivity and above all providing an exciting experience. And this years event is set to be the biggest and best show yet!

At The Wedding Event with a Difference, you can expect fantastic suppliers from across the East Midlands region, interactive demonstrations, an incredible catwalk show, engaging seminars from wedding styling to hair dressing, themed zones from the vintage corner to the blokes corner and much, much more.

If you’re recently engaged and planning your wedding, chances are you’re beginning to look at various wedding ‘fayres’ across the region for inspiration and ideas for your big day. Well, before you look any further, you need to experience a Wedding Event with a Difference.
 
Taking the term ‘wedding fayre’ to a whole new level, the wedding event with a difference was founded by two twenty something girls (creators of Save the Date magazine) back in 2011 and has become THE wedding event for every bride throughout the Midlands.   
 
The next Wedding Event with a Difference takes place on Sunday 19th October at the striking Nottingham Conference Centre in the heart of the city. Complete with over 80 amazing exhibitors, this event is set to be our biggest and most creative one yet.  
 
From vintage to retro, contemporary to festival, we have all themes covered so rest assured, you will find a supplier who understands you and your style. There will be entertainment throughout the entire event from string quartets to acoustic singers and live bands with every area providing a different atmosphere plus the on-site bistro will be open for refreshments and lunch during the day.  
 
Along with this, we have our eagerly anticipated catwalk show which just gets better and better each event. Showing twice throughout the day, you DO NOT want to miss this incredible show. Along with stunning models and beautiful dresses to help inspire you, the catwalk is themed by talented and creative stylists and creates an incredible WOW factor.   
 
We have a whole host of industry professionals providing seminars for you to sit and enjoy in the ‘Speakers Corner’. In addition to this we also delighted to be working with Debbie Bryan Studios who will be hosting eight DIY wedding workshops where brides can make a range of items for their wedding day. 
 
So, as you can see, you really can’t begin to start planning your big day until you’ve experienced a wedding event with a difference!
